fafWell time to update again, Fat & Frantic are finally available via iTunes and another site called emusic, their 4 main albums are all available to download, Waxing a Hottie, Aggressive Sunbathing, Live at the Wonky Donkey, Quirk plus the single Last Night My Wife Hovered My Head. Unfortunately the very best of Wendy Craig and precious Lord (their accapella praise and worship album) is not on the list (at least at this time). On the plus side though if you sign up to emusic you can get 25 free tracks (which will get you 1½ albums) or even better still if you download winamp (apart from the most basic version but still a free one) you can get 50 free downloads from emusic. So get that stuff downloaded and start enjoying once again the great sounds of the awesome Fat and Frantic, if you don’t have any idea what I am talking about then you definitely need to download and find out what you have been missing out on for all these years!

P.S. don’t forget if you pop over to fanandfrantic.co.uk you can download a previously unrealised track called paradise.

P.P.S. I remember the last gig I saw at Greenbelt (92?) there were a couple of new tracks that have never been released, paradise might have been one of them not sure, the other was called Hungry anyone else remember them or know if any recordings exist?

An update on Fat and Frantic for you, they are now on Myspace! Well not any of the actual band members YET but a few people who want to hold their memory dear and continue to spread the word and about the worlds best Goffle band! You can find them at http://www.myspace.com/revsoftly.
P.S. Don’t forget to check out the rest of the FAF discussions.

Update: Thought I should flag this up as well as it has only come up in comments on an early post before, the website http://www.fatandfrantic.co.uk is now up and running, lots of info about the band and looking for more. I have some stuff I need to submit when I have got the time to scan, well done to Jez for all the work though.

Not me, well not exactly although I have been listening to Riding with the King quite a lot recently, but I’m actually talking about Simon Faulks, not me the other me. A few years ago due to a mix up with changing email addresses around the same time I discovered another Simon Faulks, although we have never met we have contacted each other a few times, like me the other SF is also a Christian, he is also a very talented Blues musician, I recently found his page on Myspace which has some examples of his music, if you like blues that go and have a listen.
